Mad Art House is an art and cultural hub based in Tehran. Mahtab Shirani is a co-founder of Mad Art House.This institute includes various floors and also different spaces such as rehearsal studio, residential house, seminar hall, Book café and Roof Garden. Mad Activities are summarized in three independent but continuous fields: Training, Producing and Networking. We as the curator of Mad Art House think and care about interdisciplinary view of performing arts in order to create a radical way of training and producing performing arts despite of what art universities have done in Iran. Performance laboratory, Art Residency, Talk Panels, Production and Publication are some kinds of our main activities. Where necessary to identify new audiences and various manners of engagement, MadArt are focused on producing immersive and urban performances. So far, the results are applied performances with cooperation of different groups of people like Workers, Project Managers and Pharmacists.
